The Pitt River Lodge

Along a wilderness road that winds its way along the river through the upper Pitt River Valley lies Pitt River Lodge. It is nestled at the north end of British Columbia’s spectacular Pitt Lake, the largest freshwater tidal lake in North America. Far from the maddening crowd, this isolated and remote location is surrounded by the forests of three parks, Garibaldi, Golden Ears and Pine Cone Burke. The Pacific Coastal Mountain Range isolates and protects all that live in this secluded valley bottom and our location beside this glacier fed river enables us to be the closest true wilderness fishing lodge to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Due in fact to our secluded location with no roads and being boat and air access only we are surrounded by phenomenal catch and release fishing which is our specialty.

Pitt River Lodge has been a “home from home” to many of the world’s high-profile individuals, who find peace and anonymity hidden in this secluded valley. Famous international guests are accorded every privacy while they stay at the lodge. We have been described as Vancouver BC’s best-kept secret and Pitt River Lodge, as such, continues to serve as an ideal destination for those wishing to escape the public eye and enjoy the privacy that this idyllic location offers.

Pitt River Lodge is is a beautiful farmhouse style building with wrap around covered porch which can sleep 12 guests. With a big screen tv you won’t miss the game a games rooms with pro pool table and bar, we pride ourselves on making our guests feel comfortable and like family. Our evening meal is especially nice…after a great day, everyone can relax with a good meal, a glass of wine and great company, sharing stories from their adventures. There is no pretentious chef cooking here, just much tasted and enjoyed “man food”!

Riverview Cottage

Over looking the Pitt River is our private river view Cottage..with all the amenities of home, you can enjoy peace and solitude with the best view in the valley (next to the Fly Fishing Lodge!).
